Local Start-up Financial Assistance

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) provides financial assistance to members of the local community to support the establishment and development of financially and socially sustainable businesses.

Financial Support for Business Continuity through Resilience Points

In response to the serious security risks faced by Kyiv as a result of ongoing missile attacks, IAPM has financed the establishment of three Resilience Points since 2022. Two of these facilities are located directly on the Academy’s campus, while the third operates within the local community of Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi District.

The approximate cost of constructing and equipping each Resilience Point was UAH 5,000,000. Consequently, IAPM’s total expenditure on establishing and equipping the three facilities amounted to approximately UAH 15,000,000.

To help local entrepreneurs maintain financially and socially sustainable business operations during power outages and other emergency disruptions, IAPM finances the supply of heat and electricity to the Resilience Points and provides internet access. The facilities also contain designated areas where local entrepreneurs can work and rest, while hot meals and beverages are made available to visitors.

IAPM spends approximately UAH 400,000 annually on the operation of each Resilience Point. The Academy’s total annual expenditure on maintaining the three facilities therefore amounts to approximately UAH 1,200,000. This financial and in-kind assistance helps local entrepreneurs continue their business activities during periods of disruption caused by the security situation and interruptions to essential services.
