Participate in policy making at local, regional, national level to implement programmes and policies to end poverty in all its dimensions

Poverty has many faces and many different definitions, each of them shedding light on a different albeit interconnected facet of this multifaceted phenomenon. According to UNDP, poverty is the deprivation of well-being and is classified as human poverty, which refers to the absence of capabilities expansion; income poverty, which refers to the insufficiency of resources; and the absence of basic needs, which refers to the insufficiency of selected goods and services.

Policy Addressing Poverty

IAPM has participated in policy-making processes at local, regional, national, and/or global levels to implement programs and policies to end poverty in all its dimensions.

Local

IAPM participates in job fairs aimed at supporting local youth and job seekers from the Izmail branch of the Odessa Regional Employment Center. State-owned enterprises, large corporations, and leading local companies participated in the events, providing information about job vacancies and expanding employment opportunities. Special support and counseling stands were set up to assist vulnerable job seekers, including individual services for those in need. In addition, the job fair included programs specifically designed to support the employment of foreign students, offering practical assistance to stabilize employment and promote economic independence for marginalized groups and youth in the region.
