Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) is actively working to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3, Good Health and Well-Being. The Academy has established numerous partnerships at the local, national and international levels to improve health and well-being. These partnerships extend to cooperation with hospitals and healthcare organizations, where IAPM focuses on empowering military and temporarily displaced persons. In addition, IAPM promotes health and well-being in the local community through initiatives such as the “Legal сlinic”, which provides free legal assistance to those in need, and IAPM «Volunteers program» program, which involves about 1,000 student volunteers in various community engagement activities. The Academy also ensures the general well-being of its students and staff through services related to sexual and reproductive health, psychological counseling, and access to partial medical care at the Academy's dental office. In addition, IAPM has a strict no-smoking policy in its premises, including dormitories, to create a safe and comfortable environment. To ensure the safety of people, monitoring devices are installed in the dormitories.
IAPM realizes that physical education and sports are of great importance in shaping a healthy lifestyle, spiritual and physical development of students. In the Academy, where about 20 thousand students study, there are many who combine the educational process with active sports. Our students are members of the national teams of Ukraine and win top quality awards at the most prestigious forums on the planet. Our students include European, world and Olympic champions.
Overall, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is committed to promoting the health and well-being of its community by providing a safe and supportive environment for its students and employees.

GOALS FOR THE FUTURE

To further strengthen its efforts to promote good health and well-being (SDG 3) and build on existing initiatives, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) is committed to developing and refining future steps to ensure the sustainable development of good health and well-being.
By implementing these future steps, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management can further strengthen its commitment to SDG 3 and play an even more significant role in improving the health and well-being of its community both locally and internationally.
