Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM), takes many measures to support sustainable development goal 6 in the context of water management and conservation.

The report shows that the Academy follows a strict approach to water consumption, tracking the total amount of water used and using water meters to measure monthly consumption. It also highlights the measures taken to treat wastewater for plant irrigation and the use of sustainable landscape techniques such as drought-tolerant plants and drip irrigation.

Although the Academy is in the early stages of developing a water reuse policy, it is actively involved in public education initiatives on water management. This includes seminars, conferences and cooperation with local, national and international organizations.

The Academy makes efforts to promote conscious water use both on campus and in the wider community through informative posters and research. In addition, the participation of the Academy's leadership in national water conservation programs is regularly discussed, demonstrating the institution's commitment to water security at the national level.
