CURRENT SITUATION

The Yaroslav the Wise International Library and Information Center (ILIC) of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management provides scientific and information support for the educational process and research work of students, scientists, specialists in various fields of activity, and promotes the popularization of knowledge.
The IBIC was inaugurated on December 11, 1998. Starting out as a small library with a collection of 1,200 books, by 2022 the IBIC had more than 400,000 books and 150 titles of periodicals, including both Ukrainian newspapers and magazines and foreign press. The collection, which grew 330 times in such a short time, could not fit in the premises allocated for it, so in the summer of 2002 it was conditionally divided into technical and humanitarian collections and placed in specially adapted separate rooms in two different buildings of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
The total area of the library is more than 3000 m2. The library offers a subscription service and cozy reading rooms with a universal book collection; a computer room where you can use the electronic catalog, electronic library, Internet, scanner, photocopier and work on a PC.
All library work processes are carried out using the Automated Library Information System (ALIS) "UFD/Library". Individual consulting work with users is carried out, book exhibitions, thematic information shelves, information stands are arranged, presentations, reviews of new acquisitions, etc. are held.
Today, the IBIC is a cultural and spiritual center for students and teachers, which cooperates with more than 50 universities in Ukraine and other countries in the exchange of information.
One of the main components of the high level of scientific and cultural training of IAPM students is the use of educational literature from our own publishing house. It has more than 500 titles of publications - textbooks, monographs, manuals on personnel management, management and business, economics, law, pedagogy, psychology and sociology, many of which are recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The authors include well-known Ukrainian scientists from various scientific fields.
The practical orientation of the educational literature of the Publishing House has made it a good assistant and advisor not only for thousands of IAPM students, but also for researchers, specialists and managers of all levels in their daily work.
Every IAPM student receives a set of IAPM Publishing's literature at the beginning of the semester free of charge.
IAPM Publishing House is a regular participant in prestigious book exhibitions and fairs.
The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management has a Cultural and Creative Center. A cultural and creative center was created on the basis of an amateur club. The Center has an instrumental and dance ensemble of girls and boys, a choir, and a drama group. The Center works to involve particularly talented students in amateur activities.
It also provides technical equipment for IAPM's assembly halls and conference rooms, participates in all significant events organized by the Academy, national holidays and events held abroad.
Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is engaged in teaching, education and training related to folklore, ancient traditions, languages and knowledge. Many students conduct research on various noble personalities of Ukraine and other countries. On the other hand, the authorities also focus on the activities and life of the all-Ukrainian authority. The Cultural and Creative Center periodically organizes events related to national and international folklore and traditions.
We instill in our students the desire to go forward with ambitious inspiration, pursuing their own intentions. The Academy has become one of the leading private educational institutions in Ukraine and has integrated its educational system into the European 3-cycle education system (Bachelor's, Master's and PhD). All three levels of higher education and staff training are carried out at the Academy - bachelor's, master's, doctoral (PHD) levels are integrated into the European Credit Transfer System.
All academic staff have flexible time for teaching and research. The Academy has also created an online platform for communication between teachers and students, as well as distance learning and assignments.
The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management has affordable housing for its students, faculty and staff to help them avoid spending extra money on the high market value of the current housing market. There are 4 dormitories on the Academy's territory. The total number of beds is 700. The dormitories are divided into: men's, women's, for foreign students and mixed. There is one dormitory of block type of accommodation and three dormitories of corridor type with 2, 3 and 4-bed rooms. The rooms are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay of students. Bathrooms, showers and kitchens are located on the floors in the required number. The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management has 3 entrances for motor vehicles.
