Support for underrepresented groups

The IAPM (Interregional Academy of Personnel Management )  offers a variety of programs mentoring, counseling, or peer support  programs to support students, staff, and faculty from underrepresented groups

These programs are part of our comprehensive Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy and are woven into the fabric of our academic culture to promote the well-being and success of all people at the Academy

At the heart of our services is a commitment to creating a vibrant, inclusive environment that honors and supports equality and diversity.

The IAPM devotes a lot of attention to student support for underrepresented groups. The Academy also has many special student support programs including measures that help international students from low-income countries to study at IAPM, minimizing financial barriers and providing the necessary support at every stage of their academic journey. Such as:

 Academy provides access to healthcare services also for underrepresented groups through Psychological service  and Academic clinic

Psychological service IAPM  provides the creation of conditions for good mental health, development, maintenance of a productive and healthy atmosphere in the learning environment, increasing the level of stress resistance in the face of modern challenges, as well as the implementation of developmental, preventive, educational, correctional programs, taking into account the individual, gender, age characteristics of students and all employees of the institute in terms of mental health.

Academic clinic is a multidisciplinary medical institution where, according to domestic and international medical standards, students and staff, also for underrepresented groups, can receive consultations from leading specialists, receive expert-level advice, undergo laboratory and instrumental diagnostics, and become a participant in comprehensive disease prevention programs.

The Academic Clinic offers a full range of medical services for adults, also for underrepresented groups  by directions:

  • neurology;
  • orthopedics and traumatology;
  • family medicine;
  • reflexology
  • physiotherapy,
  • physical and rehabilitation medicine

The Academy also provides support in finding a job for students from underrepresented groups.
