Affordable housing for employees and students

The Academy has an important social mission — to provide not only education but also meet the basic needs of its students and employees, including access to affordable housing. The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management recognizes the significance of this issue, especially in the context of financial challenges faced by both students and staff, and therefore ensures access to reasonably priced accommodation and financial assistance.

In Kyiv, the average cost of housing is around 20,000 UAH (approximately 500 EUR). To make accommodation affordable, IAPM campuses operate four dormitories where housing is offered at significantly reduced rates. The Academy covers part of the housing expenses, allowing students to pay only about 10% of the total cost — around 2,000 UAH (50 EUR). This makes comfortable housing accessible to all students.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management also provides a special discount system for its employees, substantially reducing housing costs. This benefit is part of the Academy’s broader policy of supporting its staff, which helps strengthen corporate culture and foster employee loyalty. Under current conditions, faculty and staff receive up to an 80% discount on campus housing, paying only 4,000 UAH (approximately 100 EUR), while the remaining 80% is covered by the Academy. This reflects IAPM’s commitment to social support and care for its employees.

Such an approach demonstrates the Academy’s strong sense of social responsibility, aimed at ensuring comfortable working and living conditions for its faculty. This initiative not only eases the financial burden on educators but also encourages their professional growth and enhances the overall quality of education.

Dormitories For Employees And Students

There are four dormitories located on the Academy’s campus. These dormitories are intended to provide year-round accommodation for students and employees who do not have other housing options. The total capacity is 700 beds.

One block-type dormitory and three corridor-type dormitories with 2, 3, and 4 local rooms.

The rooms are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay of students and employees. Bathrooms, showers and kitchens in the required number are located on the floors.

All ground floors of Dormitories have rooms equipped for people with disabilities. Entrances and elevators are adapted for convenient use by people with disabilities. Campus accommodation includes several ground floor and suite rooms suitable for wheelchair access. There are also several rooms accessible by lift, which may be suitable for disabled students, but not for wheelchair users. These rooms have wider doors with low-level locks, larger floor space and pull cords in place of light switches. Those rooms with showers are adapted so that the shower has a seat and no step.

Furniture, refrigerator, internet (paid separately), sports and gyms, cafe, shop, hairdresser.

Cleanliness and order in the dormitory are maintained at a consistently high level - administrators, cleaners, security work clearly and harmoniously.

An atmosphere of adequacy, understanding and respect is what we expect from our students.

When settling in, an agreement (contract) on accommodation is concluded.

Living on Private Property Off-Campus

The Academy also provides financial support to students and employees seeking private-sector accommodation. In such cases, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management evaluates affordable housing options and offers financial assistance to help cover rental costs. With this allowance, staff members can rent comfortable off-campus housing at reasonable rates.

Since its foundation, the Academy has also provided long-term, interest-free loans to employees for purchasing their own homes. Thanks to this financial support, hundreds of IAPM faculty members have already become homeowners.

Free Housing for International Faculty

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management offers free housing to international faculty members, who are required to pay only for electricity consumption. Currently, the Academy provides a total of 20 well-equipped apartments and rooms for international teaching staff, ensuring comfortable living conditions.

Expansion of Affordable Housing

Recognizing the importance of addressing the issue of affordable housing for both employees and students, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management has, over the past three years (2022–2025), constructed an additional modern dormitory for 600 residents. This new facility complements the four existing dormitories and provides comfortable accommodation for members of the IAPM communit
