IAPM collaborate with NGOs to tackle the SDGs through: student volunteering programmes, research programmes, and the development of educational resources whose examples are listed below:
In 2024, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) joined and became a signatory of the CANIE Accord (Climate Action Network for International Educators).

In 2024, IAPM began its participation in the UN Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI) and UNESCO Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) programmes through public reporting and educational projects.
The UN HESI platform — a UN-affiliated multi-stakeholder NGO network — enables IAPM to engage in research and education collaborations with NGOs to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into curricula and academic practices.
Since 2024, IAPM has also been assessing students’ understanding and retention of sustainability concepts using Sulitest TASK educational tools.

Students of the Odesa Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, in partnership with local NGOs, continuously engage in volunteer activities to assist those in need—particularly through their involvement in the Juvenile Probation Sector of Odesa.

Their shared goal is to help individuals in conflict with the law recognize their mistakes, take responsibility for their actions, and reintegrate into society while respecting the rights and interests of others.
On April 23, 2024, Nataliia Voronko conducted an art therapy session for juvenile probation clients at the Odesa Probation Sector. During the session, she explained the main principles and objectives of art therapy, giving participants the opportunity to express themselves creatively and explore their emotions. Dmytro discussed the definition, signs, and origins of bullying, while Tykhon provided practical advice on how to respond to bullies without escalation and highlighted that bullying-related behavior can now lead to administrative or criminal liability.
The topic proved highly relevant, as bullying remains a pressing social issue that can easily spread without awareness and prevention. Such educational initiatives help young people learn how to recognize, respond to, and prevent bullying in their communities.
Volunteering in probation not only benefits society but also helps students develop professionally and personally, as volunteering is a cornerstone of civic responsibility and a hallmark of a modern, compassionate world.
