It is crucial for the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) to initiate, coordinate, and actively participate in cross-sectoral dialogue and multi-stakeholder partnerships aimed at advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and policy dialogue with governmental, academic and civic-society partners, the Academy promotes the principles of global partnership and contributes to strengthening institutional cooperation in education, human rights, sustainability and public governance.
IAPM’s Partnership Conferences and Cross-Sectoral Engagement (2024)
- On 11 December 2024, the Khmelnytskyi Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Current Issues of State-Building and Protection of Human Rights in Ukraine”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The event gathered over 170 researchers and practitioners from 25 educational and government institutions in Ukraine, China, Spain and the United Kingdom. It served as a platform for policy dialogue and capacity-building in human-rights protection, focusing on national and regional mechanisms, information security, and the rights of servicemen, foreigners and stateless persons. A collection of papers is being prepared for open publication to facilitate knowledge exchange and institutional learning.

- On 13 December 2024, Vyacheslav Ivanenko, a PhD student of the Academy majoring in Law, took part in the national forum “Ukraine at COP29: Achievements, Challenges, Prospects”, organised by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine. The forum strengthened government–academia cooperation and international policy alignment, summarised Ukraine’s engagement in the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, introduced the Long-Term Strategy for Low-Carbon Development until 2050 and addressed the war-related climate impact and the need for transparent emission accounting from occupied territories. A report was presented on the Academy’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

- On 15 April 2024, students of the Danube Branch of the Academy participated in the VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Priorities of National Economy Development in the Conditions of Ukraine’s European Integration” . Their research addressed labour-economics and personnel management, digital transformation of tourism, and prospects for tourism industry development—reinforcing regional cooperation and academic partnership between universities in southern Ukraine. Interregional Academy of Personell Management in partnership with other universities of the southern region of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as the NGO “Council of Young Scientists” and the “Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates organized this event.

- On 14 March 2024, lecturers and students of the Khmelnytskyi Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personell Management took part in the International Scientific & Practical Conference “Diversity and Inclusion in Education”, organised by Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereyaslav together with the Center for Innovative Learning and Technology Transfer. The event facilitated inter-institutional cooperation, advanced inclusive and equitable education, and integrated international best practices into Ukraine’s higher-education sector.

On February 14, 2024 students and lecturers of the Department of Psychology at the Khmelnytskyi Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management took part in a scientific and practical conference held within the social project “Together. Support. Nearby”. The event, organized jointly with regional authorities and NGOs, focused on psychological assistance for military personnel, veterans, and their families. Conducted in a hybrid format, the conference brought together specialists in psychology, psychotherapy, spiritual support, and stress management who shared their experiences and practical approaches to helping those affected by the war.

- On 16 March 2024, the Interregional Academy of Personell Management co-organised the International Scientific Conference “Continuity of Change: The Path to Consolidating Democracy” with the Academy of Social and Media Culture (Poland) and Tbilisi State University (Georgia) and in partnership with the NGO Regional Center of International Debate in Torun. Participants from Ukraine, Poland, Georgia, India and Iraq engaged in cross-border collaboration and academic diplomacy on civic participation, counter-disinformation and democratic resilience.

- On 19 January 2024, students of the Odesa Institute of the Interregional Academy of Personell Management participated in the regional conference “Theoretical and Practical Modalities of Inclusion in Conditions of Martial Law in Ukraine.” . The initiative fostered knowledge exchange among educators, psychologists and social-service specialists on inclusive education, psychological support and social protection for children with special educational needs in wartime conditions.

- On 27 September 2024, the Interregional Academy of Personell Management hosted the All-Ukrainian Conference “My Peace is My Strength,” jointly organised with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the State Agency for the Promotion of Culture of Ukraine and the NGO “Ukrainian Center for the Development of Cultures ‘Unity’.” The event exemplified NGO-government collaboration and public-sector partnerships, focusing on mental-health promotion, psychosocial support and youth well-being in wartime.

On 22 August 2024, representatives of the Interregional Academy of Personell Management participated in the All-Ukrainian Conference on School and University Sports Development, organised by the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The dialogue strengthened stakeholder engagement in healthy-lifestyle promotion and youth empowerment, aligning with the SDG targets on health and education.

- On 10 July 2024, the Interregional Academy of Personell Management joined the regional conference “The Path of Dignity: Joining Efforts to Protect People’s Rights”, organised by the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The event advanced institutional cooperation and public-sector accountability through discussions on children’s rights protection, the Barnahus model, and joint actions between state and civil-society organisations.

In 2023, Interregional Academy of Personnel Management held and participated in the following conferences:
- On December 20, 2023, Olga Okhman, Associate Professor of the Department of Law and Law Enforcement of the Khmelnytsky Institute of IAPM, and Khrystyna Lebid, 3rd year student majoring in 081 Law, took part in the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Theoretical Conference “Globalization Processes and Their Impact on the Socio-Economic and Legal Development of Ukraine”. Khrystyna made a presentation: “Evidence and proof in the civil procedure of Ukraine”. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kyiv Professional College of Tourism and Hospitality, and the Council of Young Scientists.

- Director General of the International Library Information Center of IAPM Olena Posvystak took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “SIGNS OF WRITING AND CULTURE: STUDY, PRESERVATION, POPULARIZATION”, which took place on December 13-14, 2023 at the Odesa National Scientific Library. The co-organizer was the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

- On November 23, 2023, a scientific and practical conference with international participation “Innovations in the treatment of neurological pain” was held in Kyiv, which was supported by the public organization “Ukrainian Association of Neurology and Reflexology”, together with the Institute of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, the Higher School of Internal Security in Lodz (Republic of Poland).
The conference was held in a mixed format: online and offline training. There was an opportunity for interactive communication. A total of 380 participants from different regions of Ukraine and abroad took part in the conference. All participants received a certificate of participation. The conference featured 20 scientific presentations.
In his welcoming speech, Professor Mikhail Goncharenko, Rector of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, greeted the conference participants and wished them fruitful work. Extremely interesting and relevant scientific reports on neuroscience were delivered by the honored foreign guests of the conference: prof. I. Balinska (Lodz, Poland); prof. Y. Compta (Barcelona, Spain); prof. S. Duma (Sydney, Australia); M. Drigant (Peć, Serbia).
Other interesting reports on the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pathology of the nervous system with pain were also presented.

- On November 22, 2023, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Transformation of National and European Management Systems of Public Administration and Management: in the Context of Modern Challenges and Development Prospects” was held.
The event was attended by more than 40 people, including scholars from other leading Ukrainian higher education institutions and practitioners.
The key speakers of the conference were: Oleg CHECHEL, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian State Research Institute “Resource” of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor; Svitlana PALIY, PhD in Public Administration, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management; Iryna KALINA, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Professor of the Department of Marketing of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management; Lesya KASHPUR, PhD in Public Administration, Head of the Department of All-Ukrainian.
The conference participants highlighted topical issues of the relationship between public administration, economics and politics in the context of Ukraine's European integration; issues related to the formation of an effective system of economic management and public administration in Ukraine in accordance with the principles of SIGMA public administration, which is under the influence of external challenges and threats.
Based on the results of the conference, a collection of scientific papers will be published on the website of the Kyiv University of Market Relations.

- On September 20-22, 2023, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Transformations of the Individual, Society and Labor Market: Future Challenges and Impact on Education” was held. The conference was organized within the framework of the CBHE Erasmus+ KA2 DEFEP project “Distance Education of the Future: EU Best Practices in Response to the Demands of Modern Higher Education and Labor Market Students” with the support of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the NGO “Innovative University”.
The event was attended by Doctor of Economics, Professor Kryshtal G.O. and Candidate of Economics I.O. Bryukhovetska with the results of scientific research in the field of modernization of economy, business and finance: intellectual and innovative context.


- 29.09.23 Head of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance of PJSC “IAPM” took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “American Standards of Agricultural Education in Ukraine” of Kyiv Agrarian University of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, with the assistance of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
The speech was devoted to topical issues of innovations in the educational process and proposals:
- diagnostics of learning is important and begins with the educational process;
- a variety of innovative methods that stimulate student activity and promote better learning;
- it is important that the teacher is a partner in learning and uses innovative methods to improve the quality of the educational process. Professional culture and attitude towards students are of great importance.
All this contributes to the development of students' creative potential and prepares them for modern challenges.

- On July 21, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine hosted a presentation by Sebastian Dahle, President of Eurodoc (European Association of Young Researchers), and Pil Maria Saugmann, Vice President of Eurodoc.
Warm atmosphere, meaningful communication, even during the air alert. The guests got acquainted with the activities of the Councils of Young Scientists in different regions of Ukraine. Iryna Semenets-Orlova, Director of the Institute of ILS, took part in the presentation of the activities of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the best practices of self-organization of scientific youth in interactive research teams.
