SUSTAINABLE FOOD CHOICES

At present, 5 canteens and cafes are open simultaneously on the IAPM campus during the entire academic year.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management has leased property on campus to food providers and has outsourced their food provision.

Moreover, The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management has included Sustainable food choices for everyone on campus, including vegetarian and vegan food, as one of the criteria to restaurants on the Academy’s campus. It’s therefore refer to:

  • trusted sources;
  • environmentally sustainable management of the land and natural environment;
  • minimised or no exposure to manufactured herbicides or artificial fertilisers;
  • no or low level of pesticides;
  • protection of diversity of both plants and animals and the welfare of farmed and wild species;
  • avoidance of damaging or wasting natural resources or contributing to climate change;
  • contributions to thriving local economies and sustainable livelihoods;
  • establishment of trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management can be proud to have vegetarian and vegan menu. With a wide range of menu choices, students and employees can enjoy a variety of dishes. There are ptions catering to diverse different dietary preferences.

For example, the Panorama restaurant serves a variety of Ukrainian and European dishes, such as Ukrainian borsch, goulash, vinaigrette, a large selection of different salads, etc. Then there are vegetarian and vegan boxes: vegetarian soup, hummus with roasted peppers, hummus with pita bread, couscous with vegetable sauté. For those with a sweet tooth, the menu also offers a selection of different desserts. Hot and cold drinks are also available.

Moreover, a convenience food store works in building 15 of Academy. This store plays an important role in promoting sustainable food choices for IAPM students by offering a selection of healthy, affordable, and eco-friendly products, organic snacks, plant-based alternatives, encouraging students to make more responsible food choices. Every day students and staff can order fresh home-made lunches in boxes and take it to go or sit inside. This positions are either fast or balanced.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is dedicated to providing its academic community with healthy, hygienic, and affordable food options on campus. This initiative aligns with the Academy's commitment to sustainability, public health, and the well-being of students, faculty, and staff. In accordance with Strategy of sustainable development of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management IAPM has developed GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR RATIONAL NUTRITION OF STUDENTS
