Water Reuse Measurement

IAPM maintains a comprehensive water tracking system. This data collection, together with successful water reduction and modernization projects, has allowed the Academy to achieve a significant reduction in water consumption by about half.

IAPM reuses more than 50% of its fresh water using wastewater management, which is crucial to our sustainability models for reducing and reusing water on our campus. After use, the water enters the wastewater stream and then goes to the wastewater treatment plant, and finally, is recycled and reused again.

The table below shows the annual amount of water reused.

The IAPM Sustainable Development Strategy recognizes that water is a non-renewable resource that needs to be conserved and not treated as waste. IAPM continues to explore opportunities to increase the reuse of water in its operations.
