IAPM is keen on encouraging local community to learn about importance of energy efficiency and clean energy. This is included in IAPM energy-related programs and trainings as well as visits, workshops, and seminars that serve objectives of clean sustainable energy.
In September 2024, Yulia Kuzminska, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the IAPM, conducted a series of workshops to educate the local community of the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv on renewable energy sources such as solar power. As a result, the cycle of workshops created awareness to 250+ participants on solar rooftop installation and usage.
During 2024, lecturers of the Khmelnytsky Institute of the IAPM Alla Avsievich, Yuriy Petlyuk and Lyudmila Savchuk gave lectures on the Implementation of Best Practices and European Standards in the Field of Energy Efficiency.
Previously, in April 2023, Alla Avsievich, Yuriy Petlyuk and Lyudmila Savchuk themselves underwent training under the program "Implementation of Best Practices and European Standards in the Field of Energy Efficiency". The program was implemented in Ukraine with the support of the German Government Project "Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine" (FEER).
After the program IAPM lecturers started to share their knowledge and experience about the importance of energy efficiency and clean energy with representatives of many local communities. So, during 2024, IAPM teachers Alla Avsievich, Yuriy Petlyuk and Lyudmila Savchuk visited 4 local communities of Khmelnytskyi region: Khmelnytskyi, Yarmolynetskyi, Starokostyantynivska and Krasylivska, and disseminated educational materials on energy conservation for households.
These events are organized and held by the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management as a part of programs for local communities to learn about the importance of energy efficiency and clean energy and are free of charge for all participants from the local community.
