The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management's policy on construction requires that all new buildings be constructed at a minimum in accordance with Water-conscious building standards. Various methods of water minimization are used, including low-flow devices. The construction of all new buildings of the Academy complies with water efficiency methods for indoor water use in accordance with all requirements of the state building standards DBN V.2.5.-74:2013 “Water supply, external networks and facilities” approved by the order of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine dated 08.04.2013 No. 133 and dated 28. In accordance with the Rules for the Protection of Surface Waters from Pollution by Wastewater approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 25, 1999, No. 465.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management complies with the international standard ISO 21929-1:2011  "Sustainability in Building Construction — Sustainability Indicators — Part 1: Framework for the Development of Indicators and a Core Set of Indicators for Buildings."

This standard provides a framework for assessing and improving the sustainability performance of buildings throughout their life cycle. By implementing ISO 21929-1:2011, IAPM ensures that all construction and renovation projects are guided by principles of environmental responsibility, energy efficiency, social well-being, and economic viability, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient campus environment.
